Woodlake High School Foundation 2003 Scholarship Recipients

The Woodlake High School Foundation awarded $6,825 in scholarships to deserving Woodlake High School graduates this past year. The recipients were Anthony Garcia, Daisy Gonzalez, Elizabeth Cuevas, Gwendolyn Renteria, Ramon Quevedo, Maria Minerva Rodriguez, Carlos Garcia, Courtney Baker, Issac Martinez, Jose Alberto Martinez, Cristobal Villegas, Fernando Llamas, Hernan Torres, Jose Reynaga, Mary Jones, Evan Garza, Keri Jackson, Erika Mendoza, Mayra Montelongo, Stephanie Quillen, Melisa Llamas, Sarah Bauer, Bertha Rodriguez and Emma Hernandez.

The Foundation also distributed over $36,650 in Community Scholarships. These scholarships are selected and awarded by various community organizations. The Foundation handles the verification and disbursement of those awards. Those scholarship included the following: Woodlake Rotary, Three Rivers Woman’s Club, Three Rivers Lions Club, La Verne Snuffer, Marsha Ingrao Computer Tutor, Rick’s Drywall, Woodlake High School Pelton Memorial, Conway Lanford, MAYA Club, Pizza Factory, Woodlake Police Department, Woodlake Explorers, Camelia Circle Garden Club, Leo Robinson Memorial, Tino Mesa Memorial, Cynthia Lockhart Mummery Memorial, Scott Norman Memorial, Don Reimers Memorial, Emma Welch Memorial, Margaret Stoppel Memorial, Orosi Pharmacy, Maggie Pearcy Memorial, Sierra Traditional Jazz Band and Nadi Spencer Art.

When setting up a scholarship, you can establish the criteria you want the recipient(s) to meet. Awarding money to students who are continuing their education is one of the best investments you can make for our future.
